GARDEN CENTERS - Whether you want to create a garden that attracts birds and butterflies, or a garden that is made up entirely of native plants, our comprehensive list of garden centers and nurseries will provide you with the trees, shrubs and flowers that you need.

Community/charitable gardens provide fresh vegetables and fruits to local food pantries. Our area is fortunate to have a number of these gardens, many of which need volunteers to help during the growing season. We have listed a few below. If you know of any more, please send us an email with the information.
Delaware Valley College (Doylestown) is partnering with the Bucks County Opportunity Council and Philabundance to create a one-acre charitable garden on its main campus. The garden will help provide fresh, healthy food for families who are struggling in Bucks County area.
Sandy Ridge Community Garden (Doylestown), sponsored by the Doylestown Mennonite Church. At least 50 percent of the produce from this garden is donated to local food pantries and soup kitchens.
Newtown Elementary School. In this community garden student gardeners donate vegetables and fruits to Philabundance and a food pantry in Penndel.
