Bucks Beautiful - One Million Bulbs for Bucks County

Bucks Beautiful

The origin of Bucks Beautiful started with Robert & Joyce Byers in the late 1980's. Inspired by a tour through Europe, they wanted to start an initiative to beautify Bucks County's small town residential communities and it's rolling landscapes with a wealth of lush public gardens. Bucks Beautiful's goal is to compliment the world fame of Bucks County with a parade of lush, distinctive gardens. Individuals, organizations and businesses are invited to participate in Bucks Beautiful and beautify Bucks County with distinctive gardens reflecting variety, color, creativity and visual impact. Bucks Beautiful programs aim to promote and extend the development of gardens in communities, towns, along roads, business premises and private homes.

Bulbs for Bucks

Bulbs for Bucks is a program of Bucks Beautiful which includes the goal of beautifying Bucks County at key locations with the first splendor of spring; blooming daffodils! As of 2017, over 1.3 million bulbs have been planted throughout Bucks County! With the success of the program and with the support of the community Bucks Beautiful hopes to continue to grow the program and plant a million more!
