Nefesh Mountain
Since their arrival on the scene in 2015, Nefesh Mountain has been hailed as one of today's formative boundary pushing Bluegrass/Americana bands. They're among the first to truly give voice and openly represent Jewish American culture, tradition, values and spirituality in the world of American roots music. True to a spirit of loving inclusivity, Lindberg and Zasloff, have created an elegantly wayward sound by melding elements of everything from Americana and Appalachian bluegrass to Celtic folk and Eastern European music. Not only a reflection of their vast musical knowledge, that open-hearted embracing of so many eclectic genres also speaks to the joyful curiosity that animates every aspect of their artistry.

The US eventually beckoned, and Albert moved to Los Angeles, where he met his idols Phil and Don Everly. Don invited Albert to play with him and pedal steel legend Buddy Emmons. After working on Don's second album, Albert left to join Joe Cocker's band. Albert released his first solo album "Hiding", produced by Brian Ahern, which featured perhaps the definitive version of "Country Boy" with Emmylou Harris on backing vocals and Ricky Skaggs on fiddle. Albert fulfilled his boyhood dream to play with the Everly Brothers in 1983 when he acted as guitarist and musical director for their reunion concert at the Royal Albert Hall. As Albert toured with Hogan's Heroes through the late 80s, he began his long association with Ernie Ball Music Man, who would eventually produce his signature guitar that he tours and records with today. In 2002 he joined Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Paul McCartney and other music legends on stage at the Concert for George at the Royal Albert Hall.

Michael Borowski
Michael received piano lessons as a young boy and his dreams of becoming a professional pianist became more solidified over time. "...Seeing George Winston live at the Academy Of Music with my mom when I was a young boy solidified that dream for me." From that point on, the pathway to the present was, of course, not always a straight line. "I studied Suzuki piano...until I graduated high school with Glorianna Sewell of Milford Square Music Studios. I went on to study music composition and piano performance at Temple University in Philly with Dr. Maurice Wright (composition) and Dr. Charles Abramovic (piano)... in college I started playing with various bands...becoming attracted to 'Jam Bands' and I became sought after as a piano player for studio work. I've performed and recorded with countless bands and artists [and] performed steadily with the Grateful Dead tribute band, Splintered Sunlight since 2001. I only recently started branching off into solo piano work, which was always my first true love."

Lots of folks throw around the phrase "let the music do the talking," but only a few have the fortitude to really do it - to just go out there and play, shunning flash, shrugging off image and reeling in the listener on the strength of the songs alone. Johnny A. is that kind of performer. For the better part of three decades, the Massachusetts-based guitarist and bandleader has proven himself capable of generating heat at venues from working-class bars to international amphitheaters - and every sort of venue in between. And when the house lights are turned up, he's just as adept at captivating serious students of the six-string with a virtuosity that earned him the rare honor of having his name placed on a signature Gibson guitar.

Steve Forbert
Steve Forbert's folk rock career has spanned four decades and counting. His combination of musicianship and authenticity demands notice. From 1978 to 1982, Forbert released four acclaimed albums. Rolling Stone contributing editor David Wild wrote that now or then, you would be hard pressed to find a debut effort that was simultaneously as fresh and accomplished as Alive on Arrival . . . it was like a great first novel by a young author who somehow managed to split the difference between Mark Twain and J.D. Salinger.' Forbert's second studio release had his Billboard #11 hit Romeo's Tune. Recording success vaulted Steve onto a broader musical stage, touring the U.S. and Europe many times over. His artistic pursuit has resulted in twenty studio albums and numerous live releases, compilations, and accolades. His songs have been recorded by Keith Urban, Rosanne Cash and Marty Stuart. Excelling in every decade of his career, Forbert exemplifies the best of the troubadour tradition.

Spyro Gyra (3 PM)
October 2019 witnessed the release of Spyro Gyra's first album of new material in six years. Once again, they have upset expectations by recording an album of all cover songs. In a nod to drawing heavily from their earlier pop and rock influences, Vinyl Tap. Be prepared for some surprises, like a Latin big band approach to Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love". Spyro Gyra is an unlikely story of a group with humble beginnings in Buffalo, NY who has continued to reach an international audience over forty years, resulting in sales of over 10 million albums and having played over five thousand shows on five continents. They have accomplished this due to a forward looking approach combined with the work ethic of an underdog, always challenging themselves to do something new while never resting on past success. It has proven to be a recipe for longevity for this jazz group while music has gone in and out of styles in ever shorter cycles.
