Adventures on the Water

Water Sports & Recreation Activities

We are truly lucky to live near beautiful bodies of water, from lakes to rivers to ocean. It's the perfect place to try a new water adventure. We can get you started with the very cool opportunities below where you can grab a tube, hop in a sailboat or dive in with scuba!

Explore the Delaware River

The Delaware River is our own natural treasure. We all know its fame concerning George Washington. But did you know it's the longest un-dammed river in the United States east of the Mississippi? That's 330 miles of natural wonder. And three-quarters of the non-tidal Delaware River is now included in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. We are so lucky to live near such a wonderful opportunity for outdoor adventure. One of the most relaxing and family-friendly ways to experience our river is by kicking back and relaxing in a tube.

DELAWARE RIVER TUBING
Delaware River Tubing
Hop on a tube, raft, kayak or canoe and enjoy a scenic, fun and refreshing 3-4 hour trip down 5-6 miles of the river. The trip includes lazy stretches with Class I rapids (beginner level) along the way. To make your trip as easy and enjoyable as possible, Delaware River Tubing offers free parking, shuttle service and key check (it's no fun to lose keys in the river). In addition, every trip includes a free meal from The Famous River Hot Dog Man on the private, exclusive Adventure Island during your river adventure, where you can eat mouth-watering island BBQ on picnic tables in the water!
